Network Rail

Fixers and Network Rail are working together to raise awareness of railway safety through encouraging people to keep themselves safe and not to take risks on or near the railway.

The partnership is driven by young people that have experienced the consequences of taking such risks and who want to deter others from making the same mistakes.

Network Rail owns and operates Britain's railway – including: 20,000 miles of track, 40,000 bridges and viaducts, thousands of signals, level crossings and stations.

Building a Nation of Fixers together…

With Network Rail’s support Fixers will facilitate the production of resources with these young people so that they can tell their stories for the benefit of others. These resources will then be used throughout the country as tools to raise awareness of railway safety. First hand experience is compelling and can help everyone really understand the risks they take.

‘Network Rail are looking to build partnerships within the community to help raise awareness of railway safety’. “We feel Fixers provides an excellent opportunity to engage young people in promoting railway safety through sharing their experiences and thoughts with each other”.
