Campaign: To help others understand Tourette’s syndrome

I live with Tourette’s syndrome and feel that there are many misconceptions about the condition.

In my view, the media only tends to show the most extreme versions of Tourette’s, which can be quite frustrating for those of us whose symptoms are less noticeable.

Over time, my tics have decreased in severity and frequency and I’ve learned to suppress them, but it’s still a daily struggle to do so.

With Fixers, I want to show others that just because Tourette’s isn’t always obvious, doesn’t mean it’s not there.
