National Good Gestures Day was inspired by Stephen Sutton, who made it his mission to recruit young people to join him in handing out hugs, high-fives, handshakes and fist bumps.
He wanted to spread positivity and make others smile through simple acts of kindness.
After a successful first Good Gestures Day in 2013 in Birmingham, Stephen’s friends helped him make it a national event last year.
Four days before he died following a three-and-a-half year battle with cancer, Stephen asked Fixers to make it an annual event and we need your help to make it bigger and better than ever.
