I fled Nigeria ten years ago because I feared for my life and came to the UK aiming to make something of myself.
I was given a home at the Red Road flats, which have faced demolition for quite a while.
My community is home to many refugees - they've been through an awful lot in their lives and see this area as a lifeline.With Fixers, I want to show how important this place is. I also want to encourage others to be more accepting of refugees and asylum seekers.
We're not bad people. We just want a life free from persecution.
