Campaign: | I want to make the legal profession more accessible for lower income families. |
I’ve just finished studying law at university in Sheffield.
It’s something that I’ve been passionate about for a long time, but sadly, I think many people are put off by it because they worry about the fees involved.
It’s my aim to make the legal profession more accessible to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
I’ve come from a modest upbringing myself and have worked extremely hard to pursue a career, which I can see myself doing for the rest of my life.
There are people from similar backgrounds to me, who are very successful in the field, but more could be done.
With Fixers, I’m hoping to inspire other young people to consider the legal profession and know that, with hard work, anything is possible.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Abigail Somoye
Amy Longley
Christopher Blackshaw
Holly Clarke
Jack Taylor
A special thank you to Zara Webb, who acted in our Fixers film.
