Campaign: | To show how performing arts can boost self-confidence |
I was always quite reserved growing up. I never really had any friends at school and was often too shy to talk to people.
But then my mum introduced me to a local drama school. For the first time, I felt confident in myself and had a feeling of self-worth. It gave me the motivation to want to be an actor.
With the help of Fixers, I have created a short film showing how performing arts can boost self-esteem.
Hopefully it will inspire more young people to get involved in creative pursuits so they too can enjoy the benefits like I have.
Belfast School of Performing Arts
James Huish from the school supported my Fix by showcasing the film on their website.
Jackie Stewart supported my Fix by allowing us shoot our Fixers film at the school.
