Cheerleading is a big part of my life. I love it. But it’s not really that well known in this country, which is a shame.
I think part of the problem is that many people don’t know the skill and dedication involved.
It’s straining on your body. You don’t only train in class but at home as well. Whether it’s improving strength, flexibility or even just choreography, it does help. It is very much a sport in my eyes.
So for our Fixers project, we’re looking to hold an event which shows just how hard cheerleading can be and get more people to see it as a serious sport.
