Campaign: | To educate young people about the dangers of taking the drug MCAT |
Using the former ‘legal high’ MCAT affected me physically and mentally. For one thing, my appearance changed. My skin was hanging off my cheek bones, you could clearly see my bone structure and I kept grinding my teeth.
MCAT only became illegal in 2010 and I don’t believe there is enough information on the drug available.
After kicking the habit, I want to make sure other people are aware of MCAT and the consequences of using it.
If I’d known that it was deadly, and understood what I’d be thinking and feeling after taking it, I definitely wouldn’t have touched it.
With the help of Fixers, I’m creating a retro-style zombie film to reflect the behavioural and physical effects of the drug. I hope to show it in schools and youth clubs.
