Campaign: | Inspiring girls to think big |
I want to inspire girls to go after their dreams regardless of what others think.
Girls in particular need to know they don’t have to be pretty to be happy or successful in life.
For my Fixers project, I'm creating a series of posters showing inspirational women. Hopefully it will have an effect on others and make them think they can achieve such things too.
The aim is for primary school children to see the posters and appreciate the vast array of exciting opportunities that are available to them, so that they might then aspire to be something more than what they immediately see around them.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Jessie Holdsworth
Joanne Marsh
Louise Maccauly

Here's some feedback about my Fixers poster campaign from some of my classmates and my teacher. (Click on 'My Fixers Posters' at the bottom of this page to see them.)
'I think this campaign has inspired most of us, especially me.'
'I think it's creative and colourful. I like how the posters are laid out.'
'I think it's a very good idea and I like the words "think it, dream it, do it".'
'I like the simplicity of the words and pictures, which gives the message easily. I wouldn't change anything.'
'Really nice and colourful. The project is inspiring and interesting.'
