Campaign: | To bring London communities together |
London is a huge city, and there are a variety of cultures within it. But rather than seamless integration, many areas remain separate from each other.
Through an event including singers and speakers from across London, my friends and I are encouraging community cohesion by showing that people from other London boroughs are no different.
Postcode loyalty is a waste of time and only limits what you can do. Young people should feel comfortable in meeting people from other areas, and should be encouraged to mix with whoever they want.
