Sanctuary is the UK’s leading provider of care, housing and community services.
The not-for-profit organisation is backing our campaign and working in partnership with Fixers to help support young people across the country address the issues they want to fix.
With over 94,000 units of accommodation across England and Scotland, Sanctuary believe that building strong communities and inspiring people to make a real difference is as important as providing them with a home.
I was invited to attend a special employee event at Sanctuary Housing’s headquarters in Worcester on Monday 24th June, where Sanctuary staff members were able to meet a number of Fixers.
It was a great opportunity to present my Fixers project to the audience of 30 employees, which included some senior management as well.
I was over the moon to be elected Youth Councillor for the Sheffield Youth Council and will be representing young people in my community assembly. Click here to read more.
February 2013 I won a Green Finger Award at February's Shiregreen Community Awards, which celebrates inspiring young people who have made a difference to the local area.
I was nominated for a Shiregreen Community Award which recognises local people who are improving the community.
