Campaign: | To encourage people with PTSD to be survivors, not victims. |
I wanted to create a short film about my recovery as a burns survivor because I believe that I should not let my scars define me but that I should define my scars.
The road to recovery is never easy but with a strong support base and the desire to become the person you want to be (not the person you are in a dark place) you can find the strength within yourself to turn your situation into a positive new way of life.
I hope me fixers film will inspire others to be survivors and not victims as I tell my story and help them to find healthy coping mechanisms for anyone suffering and become the people they deserve and want to be.
