Campaign: | To encourage people to make the most of their lives |
I was born with Klippel-Trenaunay Weber syndrome, a rare condition which causes muscle wastage, tissue enlargement and a blood disorder.
My Fixers project aims to encourage people to make the most of their lives, despite any challenges they may face.
For me this means enjoying caring for my pets, studying at university for a degree in health and social care. I also love making things, being creative and teaching craft classes.
People that have different kinds of health conditions or challenges shouldn’t be made to feel guilty for wanting the normal things in life.
Neil Heslop, Leonard Cheshire Disability -interviewed for the my broadcast film.
Vickie Simmonds, Reece Barker and Liam Barker, who took part in my broadcast film.
Barbara Senior at The Forest School, who donated us a venue to film in.
The team at Stampin Up who donated craft materials for the filming.
