Campaign: | To challenge negative stereotypes of those who are homeless |
I left home about two years ago. I sofa surfed for a year before moving into a youth homeless hostel where I’ve been for a little over a year.
One thing I’ve found is that when you’re living in supported accommodation or are homeless, some people tend to treat you differently.
Many employers don’t take you seriously and often think you’re not capable of doing the job.
My Fixers project is to show society that others like myself have much potential and we need people to stop judging us and give us a chance.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this project:
Jarad Didier
Michael Dennis
Mark Bolding
Bradley Rador
Dion Owen
This project was supported by Balcombe Trust.
I would also like to thank Lis Blackwell and Sinead Owen for helping me with this project.
