Campaign: To educate people about Islam

I am a British Muslim living in Rochdale. In recent months I’ve started to see some ill-feeling in my community towards others like me.

 

Sometimes I get called names and have even been told to get back to my own country.

 

It’s quite hurtful and makes you feel anxious about leaving the house.

 

With Fixers, my team and I have created a film which aims to dispel some misconceptions about Islam.

 

Hopefully if we improve people’s knowledge, then they will be better informed and not jump to conclusions.

 

We’re all one and we need to stick together.
