Campaign: | To encourage young people to find their purpose in life |
When I was at school there was a focus on subjects like maths, science and English. If you don’t do well in those subjects you’re deemed a failure, but I couldn’t relate to them.
I left school with bad GCSEs and didn’t know what I was going to do. I went to college and then university, but I wasn’t doing what I was passionate about. When I was in lectures I would be thinking about all the other things I wanted to do.
I found success by finding my purpose in life and I want to encourage other young people to do the same. I embraced my creativity and decided to set up an online platform for people like myself called Unashamed TV.
I made the film with Fixers because I want to show young people that just because you’re not doing well in certain subjects it doesn’t mean you’re a failure.
Once you find your passion in life you’ll do well, so find something you can’t stop thinking about and chase it.
