My childhood wasn’t the happiest time; I was emotionally abused at home and lived in fear.

 

Three years ago I was eventually put into my grandparents’ care, which changed everything and gave me a chance to start over and begin a new life.

 

I’ve teamed up with Fixers to educate people about 'kinship care', which is when a relative in a child’s wider family looks after them.

 

Hopefully my project will create more understanding on the issue.
