I struggled with my mental health growing up. I was a young carer for my mother who was ill and I feel I wasn’t given enough support.
I was picked on in secondary school, and became depressed, anxious, and generally felt like I could never be happy.
Everyone needs to look after their mental health; just because you don't have a 'problem' with yours doesn't mean you don't need to work on it.
I want the education system to equip children and young people with the knowledge, skills and advice they need for becoming happy, engaged, successful adults.
Me and my friends want young people to know that calories aren't the enemy!
