Campaign: | To encourage young people to raise their aspirations. |
I went to seven different secondary schools and youth behaviour units because I kept getting into trouble.
I lost my little brother Cody in tragic circumstances in 2008 and recently discovered that I can express my emotions through rapping rather than getting angry; music has helped me to turn things around.
My dream is to pursue a career in music, and I hope that my track will inspire other young people to raise their aspirations, whatever life may throw at them.
Music has helped me deal with what happened and it is great that I can use it to send a positive message out to others.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Charlie Fulljames
Patrick Cantellow
Steven Hayler
We would like to thank:
Music Studio on the Pier where we recorded the track.
Kris Searle and Carl Crane at Inspire U Music who produced the song for us.
Troy Macfarland from Audio Houndz who wrote the track.
And our youth support workers Tony Duke and Jimmy Beezy at AOCA (Awareness of Certain Addictions) in Sheerness.
