Campaign: | To show others that cerebral palsy does not mean I can't make decisions |
I live with cerebral palsy which means that communication can be hard for me.
Despite this, I don’t like it when people talk for me or make decisions without consulting me.
It’s frustrating when I am not given time to talk or my opinion is not considered.
I want to show those who work with young disabled people that they need to give them time to speak and listen to what they have to say.
NHS England
My Fixers project is supported by the Patient Experience Team at NHS England, who pledge to improve health services by listening to patients, their families and carers.
The team is working in partnership with Fixers to support this campaign as part of their commitment to offering a compassionate and efficient service for all.
