Campaign: | To highlight the importance of children learning to swim |
My dad passed away last year – he’s the one who really got me into swimming.
I started when I was four and as I grew older I had dreams of competing in the Olympics. At one point, I was training 20 hours a week.
But then a coach told me I’d never make it and my confidence took a hit.
That’s when my attention turned to teaching this vital skill.
I’m working with Fixers to encourage parents to make sure their children learn the basics of swimming.
I believe everyone should know how to swim. It not only keeps you fit, it could also save your life.
Amateur Swimming Association (ASA)
Chris Rinder from the ASA supports my project. He agreed to be interviewed to appear in my broadcast film.
