Campaign: | To encourage young people to maintain good relations with their families so they can stay at home |
I left home following a disagreement with my parents and now live in a hostel.
I didn’t realise how much it would change me and how hard it would be.
Although I am getting on with my life, it’s something I’m still coming to terms with. I do miss home.
My Fixers campaign is to encourage young people to appreciate what their parents do for them and not make rash decisions which can’t easily be taken back.
I’m urging people to maintain good relations with their families if possible and understand how valuable their support can be.
Kerry Maxwell OBE, Chief Executive of the trust, supports my Fixers project. She was interviewed to appear in my broadcast film.
