Campaign: | To show young people how to manage their money |
Independent living can be difficult, especially when you’re young.
Fortunately, I grew up with a good idea of how to live on a budget, however many my age can often struggle to make ends meet.
My team and I are working with Fixers on a board game, which teaches young people how to save money and spend responsibly.
Hopefully my campaign will help others make smart decisions when it comes to managing their finances as they get older.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with this Fix:
Leeanne Amson | Alice Kenning |
David Williams | Lisa Owen |
Richard Palmer | Gary Sterland |
Chris Lightfoot from the debt management service supports this project. He was interviewed to appear in my broadcast piece.
The Going it Alone Partnership
(The Bus Stop Project, Grwp Cynefin, North Wales Housing and Cartrefi Conwy)
The Going it Alone Partnership have supported our group (the Young Housing Network) throughout this Fix, helping us to create the game and get the resource into schools and youth groups across Conwy and Denbighshire.
Victoria Shopping Centre
Sue Nash and the rest of the team support our project. They allowed us to set up the giant version of our board game in the middle of the shopping centre.
Thanks also to Matt Forbes and Karen Short for allowing the Fixers team to film scenes for my broadcast item on Llandudno prom.
