Campaign: | To encourage people to be happy in their own skin |
My group and I from Dover Grammar School Sixth Form feel that body image is negatively portrayed in the media.
Young people can be brought up to believe that they need to look a certain way without realising that there are more important things in life.
The media can have a negative effect on individuals who feel like they should strive for an unattainable body ideal.
With the help of Fixers, we’re organising a flash mob on 17th of June to encourage people to believe in themselves and feel happy just the way they are.
