In the past, I was a couch potato. I’d come home from work, eat dinner and spend the rest of the evening in front of the TV and as a result I would feel quite low and have little confidence.
Taking up exercise is definitely one of the most positive things I’ve ever done. As well as benefitting me physically, it’s also had a big impact on my mental health.
I’m now more confident and come home from classes feeling upbeat.
With Fixers, I want to show other young people that exercise can really help in all areas of life.
They could find it’s the first step to improving their wellbeing.
