Campaign: | To highlight the potential dangers of spending too much time online |
While the internet is an incredibly rich source of information, spending too much time online can have its pitfalls.
In the past, I didn't realise that my interest in the internet was beginning to take over my life.
I would hurry home from college to log on to social networking sites, leaving my friends behind.
My attitude towards the internet has changed now, but back then I became socially isolated.
With Fixers, I want to warn other young people of the dangers of becoming preoccupied with what they see on a screen.
I’d like to help people find a better balance between socialising online and socialising in person, so they don’t become dependent on the internet.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Araf Perwaze | Callum Richardson |
Deanna Turley | Hayley Doyle |
Jade Richardson | Laaraib Khan |
Liam French | Madeline Cowell |
Paul Angus | Rebecca Young |
Sophie Iqbal |
