Bright Futures invited me and my team to launch our Fixers campaign at their AGM meeting, which was the day after White Ribbon Day.
Approximately 40 people attended the screening of our film. The audience included the Durham Police and Crime Commissioner Ron Hogg, community ambassadors, service users, volunteers, parents, councillors, solicitors and members of the ambulance service.
The feedback we received on our project and Fixers film has been really positive. Here is what some attendees had to say:
Councillor Joyce Welsh: 'This is a wonderful piece of work. Well done to you all!'
Laura Croft, David Gray Solicitors: 'Good job! Liked the fairy story theme and the idea of the Prince Charming not turning out to be so charming after all.'
Anna: 'I found this really useful and it gives me an idea of what kind of people I should be with.'
Alison: 'Great at getting the point across and easy to follow. Brilliant DVD!'
Stella: 'This was an amazing DVD, which is perfect for young children, who will be able to understand the message which they are trying to get across.'
