Campaign: | To educate and empower young people to help tackle climate change |
I’m lucky enough to live on the doorstep of the New Forest, which I think is a beautiful place.
For several years now, I've been passionate about protecting our environment and helping to stop climate change, and I believe that if every individual did their bit, we could have a really positive impact on the world.
I'm working with Fixers to create an animated film to prove this point. I want to show that it only takes small changes to make a big difference.
I hope my campaign will encourage people to think more carefully about the effect their actions have on the planet - perhaps considering things like recycling and choosing to buy products that use environmentally-friendly ingredients.
Dominique Hocking, Ethan Coventry and Lucy Carter have helped me with this Fix.
Regents Park Community College
The team at Regents Park Community College support my Fix. They allowed me to show my animation to pupils, and host a workshop that was filmed for my broadcast piece.
Dr Simon Boxall, University of Southampton
Dr Simon Boxall, a Lecturer in Ocean and Earth Science at the University of Southampton, has supported my project. He agreed to be interviewed to appear in my broadcast film.
