Campaign: | To show young people the benefits of apprenticeships |
Making a decision on what path to take after the completion of studies can be a daunting task for young people. That’s why it’s important they know about all the options available to them.
I feel many schools tend to focus on higher education and often forget to talk about the value of apprenticeships.
I’ve recently enrolled on a work-based training scheme in the railway industry and feel it’s a great way to gain practical experience.
With Fixers, my team and I have put together a leaflet, which shows young people the benefits of apprenticeships and gives them information on career options.
We hope it will inspire more to consider this practical method of learning and develop skills for the future.
A special thank you to Fixers Andrew Kelly and Jessica Keers for helping me with my Fix.
