The Feel Happy With My Gender Fix brought together a representative group of some 20 young people* aged between 16 and 25 to find ways to improve the lives of trans and gender neutral people in five areas; school, work, health, media and the home. [*Most of the young people were already running their own campaigns with Fixers about gender or LGBT issues].

Trans Films

The one-day event was the culmination of a UK-wide process which sought the opinions of trans and gender fluid young people on what they would like to see change.

We showed some fantastic Fixers films, made by trans and gender fluid young people ... click on the image and be inspired [14 films].

'Question Time'

After morning workshops, the London group then sat on a panel at ITV's London Television Centre in a Question Time style debate, hosted by India Willoughby [ITV Tyne Tees] and Stephanie Hirst [BBC and Commercial Radio] - who have uniquely worked as both genders in British broadcasting - where the young people answered questions from an invited audience.

Click on the image for full coverage of the debate. It runs for 1hr 52mins ... so break open your popcorn!
