'Creative Content' Filming

An artist who hopes to inspire others to rid of depression through art has completed filming her project.

 

Amy Mullen (19), from Cwmbran, South Wales, suffered from depression through her teens, peaking when she tackled her A-Levels in her late teens.

 

It became so much that Amy left her college course. However, hearing of her struggle, her secondary school heard what had happened and offered her some support in achieving her A-Levels and a BTEC in Art and Design.

 

Amy now feels cured of depression after using her art as a way to express herself.

 

Through her Fixers film, Amy hopes to raise awareness of ways to manage depression, and wants young people in her area to be inspired to turn to creativity.
