Fixers at Skills Cornwall Event

The Fixers team were at the Skills Cornwall event, the biggest annual careers and skills event in the county.

Held at Carn Brea Leisure Centre in Redruth, the event allows young people to get inspiration and ideas about what they want to do with their future, both in their careers and leisure.

The team spoke to hundreds of young people from across Cornwall to find out what issues are important to them. Many wanted to tackle the issue of boredom in their town, others wanted to challenge stereotypes, some wanted to make the streets safer at night, and some wanted to highlight the pressures around body image for young people.

Our photo booth allowed young people to tell us what they want to fix. Thanks to everyone that took part, and check out the pictures below.
