National Good Gestures Day 2014 |
||||||||||||
National Good Gestures Day is a campaign created by Stephen Sutton, who wanted to inspire young people to spread happiness in their communities through simple acts of kindness. Stephen sadly passed away on 14th May 2014 at the age of 19, after a three-and-a-half year battle with cancer.
His philosphy during his life was to not focus on the negative, instead dedicating his energy and time to promoting positivity in his community and beyond. Inspired by his original campaign, his friends and supporters decided to turn Good Gestures Day into a nationwide event.
