Campaign: | To encourage others to take a stand against hate crime |
I wear a niqab and have experienced hate crime as a result.
I’ve had people shout things at me and I’ve even had someone try to pull off my veil. It makes me feel vulnerable.
I don’t believe that anyone should be subjected to this sort of abuse, whether it’s based on religion, sexuality or disability.
People should stick together and stand up to hate crime when they see it happening.
We shouldn’t let it go unchallenged.
