I’ve experienced bullying as a result of being a woman with facial hair – a side-effect of polycystic ovary syndrome.


At the time, this had a devastating effect on me, leaving me with extremely low self-esteem.


Now, I accept myself for who I am and embrace the way I look. But I still want others to know how damaging hurtful words can be.


With Fixers, I’m working on a campaign to show that name-calling has a big impact.


I want to support those who are being bullied to help them stay positive, while showing bullies the long-lasting effect that their actions can have.
