Young people have to deal with a variety of pressures and stresses and might not always have the confidence to talk about the things that are getting them down.
They might think that the issues bothering them are small and insignificant, but it’s bottling up these emotions that can lead them to escalate into bigger problems.
With Fixers, I want to show teenagers that it’s okay to talk.
For someone going through a tough time, sharing their worries with a friend, family member, teacher or counsellor can be the first step towards getting the help they need.
Mera Mayde, Brittany O’Neill and Marie Myrie have helped me with this Fix.
