What are your main roles within Fixers: As a Young Person’s Coordinator, my role is to support Young People in tackling issues within society which they are passionate about through their own projects.

Why did you want to work with Fixers: Fixers gives young people the opportunity to express their issues and ideas in a creative way whilst benefitting others in society. I have a passion for working with and supporting young people in a positive way.

What do you want to achieve while working with young people (Fixers): I hope to engage with as many young people as possible and address a vast amount of issues which young people are faced with today.

Favourite Colour: Duck Egg

Hobbies: Cooking, Baking, Scuba Diving and Socialising.

Something people may not know about you: I’m a crazy cat/kitten lady in the making!

Job Title: Young Person’s Coordinator – East London and Kent

What are your main roles within Fixers:

My role is to engage with young people from a range of backgrounds, supporting them in raising awareness about issues affecting them or their communities through their Fixers project.

Why did you want to work with Fixers:

I share a common interest with Fixers, our passion for social justice, empowering young people and their communities to resolve social issues through positive actions and effective communication.

What do you want to achieve while working with young people (Fixers)?:

Through Fixers, I want to show the world how great young people can be with appropriate mentoring and support; that all young people are capable of achieving and contributing to society positively.

Favourite Colour: Blue – keeps me cool and calm. I like Brown too – keeps me grounded

Hobbies: Playing football, watching movies, listening to music

Something people may not know about you: I performed the song “Twist and Shout” by Chaka Demus and Pliers with a friend at college – I was amazing and hit every note.

Job title: Young Peoples Coordinator - Central

Department: Projects

What are your main roles with Fixers?  My role is to find and recruit young people that are passionate about making a difference to those around them, and working with and supporting them to achieve their aim. I’m also going to be out and about across the Central region spreading the word about Fixers, how young people can get involved and how great it is!

Why did you want to work with Fixers? I’m passionate about giving young people a platform to express their opinions, share their feelings and support other young people. Fixers will allow me to meet these young people across the Central region and start a revolution of young people fixing and supporting other young people!

What do you want to achievehile working with young people (Fixers)? It would be amazing for young people in the region I cover to be able to share their story’s with the rest of the UK and vice-versa, and have a really great time doing it!

Favourite colour: I’m not sure I have one … If I did it would be Boston University Red

Hobbies: Catching new films, traveling, music, football and F1!!

Something people may not know about you: I used to perform the Wes Erpen Experience (My own Cabaret Show) to 100’s of people a night in the Canary Islands … Whether they listened or not is another question.

What are your main roles with Fixers?

Working with young people (finding them) to produce creative projects about issues concerning them in order make a change to the community around them.

Why did you want to work with Fixers?

I was a previous Fixer and saw the work that Fixers did was beneficial and really helped young people. They have a unique platform to raise concern and make a difference

What do you want to achieve while working with young people (Fixers)?

Get young peoples’ voices heard especially those that are ‘hardest to reach’

Favourite colour: Blue/GreenTurquoise then maybe?

Hobbies: Socialising with friends, going to gigs, football

Job title: Specialist Young People’s Co-ordinator

Department: Projects team

What are your main roles with Fixers? My role is to support young people who may be facing challenges in life, giving those young people the guidance and encouragement to show that the issues they have raised and areas passionate to them is worth doing something about.

Why did you want to work with Fixers? 

I want to give young people a chance to see that they can achieve and be creative in doing this, giving them the experience of building bridges between communities, organisations and breaking down the stigmas that are associated with young people in today’s society.

What do you want to achieve while working with young people?

I want Fixers to have a positive experience of working with the team, knowing that if they never got involved with Fixers, others would not be aware of the issue or the resource would not be out there.

Favourite colour: Navy Blue

Hobbies: Music and trying to keep fit

Something people may not know about you:  I used to be a chef and cooked for Princess Anne when I was 19-years-old.
