Campaign: | To stop young people getting involved in drugs and violence |
My team and I have grown up in a part of Kent called Cliftonville, which is in Margate.
There are things that go on in the area that we don’t like – mainly drugs and violence.
We’re sick of this happening in our community and want to tell others that there is a different and better way to live.
With Fixers, we’re working on a music video to go with a song we’ve written.
We hope that people will listen to us and understand the issues we want to raise.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Aron Cuga | Bromleigh McKenzie |
Connor Airs | Diana Tulejova |
Edyta Jobczynska | Ellecia English |
Erik Totlar | Jarbo Tobar |
Julia Balogoua | Lea Tatarova |
Louis Choules | Megan Hobby |
Michal Balog | Nikoleta Balogora |
Roman Drezi | Roman Mike |
Shannon Elvidge | Sky Reynolds |
Stuart Moore |
My Fixers project is supported by the Cabinet Office’s Youth Social Action Fund.
As part of the Cabinet Office initiative ‘Step Up to Serve’, which is spearheaded by HRH the Prince of Wales, Fixers is working in partnership with the Youth Social Action Fund (YSAF) to offer the Fixer experience specifically to young people aged between 16 and 20 in Birmingham and parts of Kent.
Thank you to Kotchin for helping us to record the song for our Fixers campaign.
The Quarterdeck Youth Centre
Thank you for allowing us to use the space for our meetings about the campaign.
