Coming out as LGBTQ can be an incredibly stressful time for a young person. Worried about what others will say, many feel alone and unsure of what to do.
I’m straight myself, but a few of my friends have looked to confide in me after revealing they’re gay or bisexual.
It’s quite humbling how someone trusts you with something so personal about themselves.
Therefore, with Fixers, my team and I have decided to support young people who may be looking to come out and need guidance on what to do.
Our aim is to show them that, whenever the time’s right, it’s okay to tell someone without worrying about being judged.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
South Sefton College
Stephen Johnson from the college supported our Fix by allowing us to hold a photoshoot there.
Tilly and Bella
Mary-Anne White and Lucy Wills
Shak & Natasha
