Campaign: | To show young people the opportunities education can offer |
I am currently studying for my GCSEs and am looking ahead to going to college.
However, I feel that some students can be heavily influenced by negative peer pressure, instead of focusing on their studies.
Whatever this distraction may be, it can have a detrimental impact on a young person and their future.
Since schooling is free between the ages of 16-19, trying to return to education in later life can be difficult and expensive; therefore, I want to show students the importance of continuing their studies while it is available to them.
With Fixers, I want to create a series of short films in the style of Vines to grab people’s attention and highlight my message: "School is good!"
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Alice Neill | Ben Wright |
Billy Hambridge | Callum Jones |
Ella Greenwood | Euan Bouteiller |
Jasmine Kutassy | Keiran Howes |
Leah Scaife | Rob Levine |
Tom Woodman | Wilfred Sebastian |
Sally Burnett, Swindon Borough Council
Sally was interviewed for my broadcast story to discuss the importance of staying in education as a young person.
