I have been bullied for most of my life.
I have also seen friends bullied and witnessed the negative effects it had on their mental health.
I don’t think people realise how serious the consequences of bullying can be.
According to a recent survey looking into why young people self-harm, being bullied is indicated as the main reason why they first injure themselves.
For my Fixers project, I'm showing how verbal insults can cut deeper than people know.
I hope that the campaign highlights that bullying can have detrimental consequences on mental well-being that shouldn't be taken lightly.
My hope is to encourage those who are being bullied to seek help and to show bullies the impacts of their actions.
