Campaign: | To enable young people to spot the signs of domestic abuse |
Domestic abuse isn’t always physical.
It can also be verbal and emotional, which can be harder to spot.
It’s my concern that young people who are new to relationships may not realise if this is happening to them.
They might not necessarily identify when behaviour is controlling – or see when it has the potential to escalate.
My team and I want to focus our Fixers campaign on raising awareness of the early signs of domestic abuse.
We want to give young people the information they will need to notice and acknowledge when a relationship is unhealthy, so that those who need it are able to get help.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Gwen Davies | Gemma Berrett | Jessica Marshall |
Irvine Smith | Lauren Jones | Josh Harvey |
Lewis Mardon | Taylor Moody | Emma Kinsella |
Aneta Kumanova | Leah Golding |

Our Fixers posters are complete. Click on the images below to enlarge them.
Our posters have already been shared with Cardiff Council and Cardiff Women’s Aid, who want to use them in school workshops on healthy relationships.
We’re also hoping to put them up in as many local youth centres as possible and have already had the following positive feedback from youth club members.
‘The posters are really effective.’
‘It’s good that the posters feature girls and boys as domestic abuse can happen to both.’
‘It’s made me think about domestic violence and how it can happen to anyone.’
