I was left paralysed as a child when I had a tumour removed from my back.
I now rely on a wheelchair and I feel like this has had an impact on the way employers view me, as I was unemployed for 18 months despite having good qualifications.
With the help of Fixers, I created a leaflet to show employers how people with disabilities are just as capable of doing a job as those without.
I want to remove the stigma that hiring a disabled person will be hassle and a lot of effort when that’s not the case.
I now have a job and I feel I have a more positive outlook on life because of this - I want other people to be able to experience the same.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Pete Skea, Disability Cornwall
Pete supports my campaign and provided an interview for my TV story broadcast on ITV News.
Kate Reed, Real Ideas Organisation
Kate Reed appeared in my broadcast piece to support my campaign.
I was featured on BBC Radio Cornwall to discuss my campaign.
My campaign was also featured in the West Morning News and the Cornish Guardian.
