Campaign: To challenge negative disability stereotypes

I have cerebral palsy and have been in a wheelchair for a large part of my life.

In school I would get called names and people thought I wasn’t capable of doing anything, which was very hard to take.

In spite of this, I always remained positive and tried to make them understand that we all have things in common.

But music was my real escape. It allowed me to express my feelings, while making others happy at the same time.

With Fixers, I’m hoping to challenge the negative stereotypes that surround people with disabilities by creating a music video.

My aim is to inspire people to treat everyone equally.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Jessica Carter

Robert Taylor

Rosie Sievers

I've had some really positive feedback from people who have seen my campaign. You can read some of these comments below.

Nasr: 'Charles, we are proud of you and I am sure that many people will be inspired by you.'

Melanie: 'You are an inspiration to all of us.'

Angela: 'Well done Charles my boy. So proud!'

Cole: 'Proud to say I am related to that man.'
