Campaign: | To challenge negative perceptions of young people with tattoos and piercings |
I know all too well that some people can be quick to judge those with tattoos and piercings.
In the past, I was interviewed for a job and told that if I wanted the role I would need to remove my lip ring.
This negative attitude towards body modification is what I’m campaigning to change. People should be seen for who they are on the inside and should not be judged based on the way they look – especially by employers.
With Fixers, my team and I want to show that having a tattoo or a piercing doesn’t make someone a bad person, and it doesn’t affect their ability to do a good job.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Aled Williams | Alexandra Sidoli |
Caitlin Roberts | Jaynion Hampton |
Jessica Morris | Jordan Dryer |
Joshua Gummer | Liam Evans |
Morgan Rogers | William Evans |
Bradley Scott Kaler |
Keif Price, SWYD Tattoo & Barber Parlour
Keif, a body modification artist, supports our Fixers project. He agreed to be interviewed in my broadcast piece.
Kiera Tsenti, Employment Consultant
