Campaign: | To show the negative effects of cyberbullying |
I feel that cyberbullying is a growing problem that isn’t always fully understood.
It’s crucial that young people know what to do should it happen to them – and that parents and teachers are able to spot the signs.
I experienced cyberbullying. It mostly involved online abuse through social media.
It made me feel really low and I ended up moving schools.
Now, with the help of Fixers, my team and I are showing how online abuse can affect teenagers.
We want our campaign to discourage people from becoming cyberbullies, while showing young people, who are targeted, that there is somewhere for them to turn.
We also hope that by helping teachers and parents to better understand cyberbullying, they will be able to identify when victims need support.
