I was a victim of domestic abuse and it has affected me quite a lot.
But after speaking about my ordeal, I was able to live my life and feel normal again.
I think many people think it’s easy to break free from an abusive relationship but it’s not.
Most victims, especially girls, are often too scared to say anything because they don’t think anyone will take them seriously.
Now that I’ve moved on with my life, I want to help others find the courage to do the same.
With the help of Fixers, I’ve recorded an audio track as a way of sharing my story.
Hopefully the lyrics will inspire more victims to speak out against domestic abuse and move forward with their lives.
With the help of Fixers, I finished my audio track titled 'A Girl Left Behind.' I hope it inspires more victims of domestic abuse to speak out and get help.
