Dance is a great form of self-expression. It’s fun, makes you feel good and keeps you fit.
But, there are misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding dance and dancers that need to be addressed.
For example, as a male dancer, I’ve experienced bullying. Some people don’t understand that it’s not a gender-specific activity.
With Fixers, I want to encourage other young people to get into dancing, showing them that it’s okay to be yourself.
I particularly want my campaign to target men. By demonstrating what I can do, I hope to help them understand that dance can be for everyone.
Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:
Taya Gilbert, Fruzanne Weller, Leyla Slimani, Sarah Soltau and AJ Martin are supporting my Fix. They all appeared in my Fixers film 'Dance 4 Men'.
