Campaign: To encourage young people to voice their opinions on youth services

Having been a member of several youth clubs in Dundee, I feel that there needs to be more for others my age to do.

Our views and opinions are important, but we need better platforms for people to share them.

Therefore, with the help of Fixers, my group and I organised an event, bringing young people and professionals together.

We thought it’d be a great chance for young people to be heard and give their opinions on the issues that matter.

We think others our age can help to improve youth services and find the right to path to shape their own future.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Catherine Law

Connor Finlayson

Liam Stott

Mathew Roud

LGBT Youth Dundee

The organisation helped facilitate the project.

McManus Gallery

Christine Millar from the gallery helped put on the event.

April 2014

We held our event 'Finding the Right Path' on 6th March at The McManus Gallery in Dundee.

Members of the Dundee Youth Council, Holocaust Educational Trust and Dundee City Council attended, along with fellow Fixers, family and friends. It was a great day and we hope to hold further events like this in the future.
