Name: Ricky Adams
Age: 23
Year of the Fix: 2014
Location: Rochester, Kent
Campaign: To tackle swearing in football

As a football referee and manager I know how it feels to be verbally abused on the pitch.

It doesn’t make you feel good at all. In fact, it can make you feel very low.

There is no place for swearing or offensive language in football and it’s time to tackle it.

Our Fix is a group effort involving the Kent FA Youth Council. We want to create a film to encourage both players and fans to think about the language they’re using.

Abuse is not something we should tolerate.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Brandon Myers Jordan Robins Matthew Bennett
Ben Chapman Daniel Sharpe Connor Charlton
Tolly Beatsoh Scott Embery Thomas Willmott
